Wind in the Willows

by Matt Schwarz

/
1.
Instrumental Rat and Mole float lazily down the river. Birdsong can be heard in the air. Suddenly, the boat overturns and they go down . . . .and float back up. The boat gets caught in the rapids and things get exciting, before finally reaching a slower section of river and floating lazily again.

about

A series of classical chamber music trios for flute, harp, and cello inspired by Kenneth Graham's "The Wind in the Willows."

The first track written was "By the Riverbank." This was composed in 2018, recorded by musicians in separate countries (due to COVID) in 2020-2021, and finally released in 2022.

The second track written was "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn," in 2020. It is awaiting a performance or recording.
